Deveron Dental Centre

Huntly

Situated at the southern edge of the Jubilee Hospital complex in Huntly, this £1.5 million development, was completed in April 2011. The facility accommodates five state-of-the-art Dental Surgeries, a dedicated X-Ray suite, a decontamination suite, interview rooms and a number of administrative offices, all with high quality fittings complimented by a fresh colour scheme create a relaxing, comfortably and friendly interior for both staff and patients.

A simple arrangement of space and form, designed over 2 storeys minimises the building footprint on a tight, sloping site, while providing the required separation between public and private functions to maximise security and functionality.

The external finishes comprise of; a smooth white render finish to the ground floor, Siberian larch cladding to the first floor, with a feature facing blockwork element linking the two storeys together and a mill finished aluminium standing seam roof..

The building incorporates a number of sustainable design features, including air source heat pumps, under floor heating, sun chutes and passi-vents.
