Union Grove, Aberdeen

The development at Nazareth House comprises the major refurbishment, alterations and conversion of a Category ‘C’ listed former nursing home into 47 residential flats, complete with ancillary onsite parking, bicycle stores and concierge office. The flats are a mixture of 1, 2 & 3 bed units and there is lift access throughout.

To the west of the main building there is consent for a further 5 Mews houses to be formed on the footprint of the ancillary storage buildings, which also involves the conversion of the former mortuary chapel. These are 3 Bedroom units which provide accommodation over 1.5 storeys, and are finished in re-claimed granite and natural slate to compliment the chapel and main building opposite.

On the north side of the site there is consent for two 4 storey new build blocks fronting onto Union Grove, creating a further 40 two bedroom flats. This phase includes an underground carpark as well surface parking and amenity landscaping. The finishes to new blocks are more modern, with a mixture of granite blocks, smooth render, and eternit cladding.

Phase 1 works (comprising the refurbishment of the former Natareth House care facility) have been completed, with future work phases currently being planned.
